For years, I struggled to get healthcare providers to truly listen to my concerns. I knew my body was not functioning the way it should, and what I was experiencing did not feel “normal” for someone in her 30s. Too often, I left appointments feeling unheard and without real answers.

At one point, I felt like I was living in an 80-year-old body — exhausted, in chronic pain, and frustrated by unexplained weight gain despite consistent effort with diet and exercise. The emotional toll was just as heavy as the physical symptoms.

Eventually, I realized that if I wanted answers, I would have to advocate for myself.

When I was later diagnosed with Hashimoto’s Disease and Rheumatoid Arthritis, everything finally made sense. Receiving that diagnosis brought clarity, relief, and most importantly, a path forward.

That experience fundamentally shaped how I practice medicine today. It deepened my commitment to listening carefully, investigating thoroughly, and addressing root causes rather than dismissing symptoms. In 2022, I opened Revive Wellness to create a space where patients feel seen, heard, and supported — combining clinical expertise with compassionate, individualized care.
